| For those of you who haven't seen Tom Binns' designs, here are some of his amazing pieces. I'm obsessed with the neon colors, tribal vibe and modern shapes of the necklaces: |
| From Left: Hand Painted Crystal Massai Necklace, Painted Crystal Necklace, Neon Yellow Paint Splattered Massai Necklace To make your own Tom Binns' inspired piece, first you need to find a rhinestone necklace. I picked one up from Goodwill for $10, but you can also buy one new like this Rhinestone Fringe Choker from F21 (only $12.80!). Next, you should select your nail polish color palette. I went for neon mixed with black, white and a few pastels. Paint each rhinestone carefully (and on a covered surface) in a design of your choice. Once you are finished painting, let the necklace dry completely (at least 4 hours) and it's ready to wear! |

Hello October!
This was my first weekend at home with no plans in a long, long time. We got together with friends and drank wine, I crafted all day Saturday, went out for a birthday party in Georgetown Saturday night and had a relaxing dinner with my parents on Sunday. Here are some photo highlights of the first weekend of the best month of the year!
